Road closure -Wold Hill / Church Street
Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Wold Hill/Church Street, North Cave during the following period:
Tuesday 14th September 2021 until Friday 15th October 2021
The road closure is necessary to enable the carriageway works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 32 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via:
A63 From M62 J38 To J A1034 E, A63 J A1034 Join E, A63 J A1034 Leave E, A63 M62 J38 Join E, A63 North Cave Interchange On Slip, A63 Through J A1034 E, Appleton Lane, Brough Road, Church Street, Green Lane, Kettlethorpe Hill, M62 Through J38 E, Market Place, Newport Road, Petuaria Way, Station Road, Westgate.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and residents.
